Birthday card!

This is a card I made a while back for a friend.  I used a Gorjuss girl stamp. Fussy cut her out and used her on this card.  Of course I had to add some flowers and glitter.  Love flowers and glitter.

Brrrrr........ Its cold outside!

Wow we just went through a cold spell here in the Northeast.
I was inspired to make this card due to the cold weather.
The bear is a die from Aliexpress.  I thought he was such a cute polar bear.  Of course you could make him a brown bear, black bear or pink whatever color you want.  That is what I love about dies.  You can make them whatever color you want to fit your project.

Just crafting

My mother gave me a thin piece of wood and said you can use it for crafting.  It was from some wood scraps she had.  The other day I pulled the piece of wood out.  Sometimes it is fun to just create for no rhyme or reason.  Here is what I made.

I decided to enter my creation in a few challenges.

Pink Frosty

Don't know why but I was in a pink mood.  Maybe it is because Valentine's is just around the corner.  I made this little frosty snow lady.

I know you can't tell but there is glitter on the flowers plus the heart, and hat of the snow lady.  My camera and the lighting during this season is not the best.

Supplies used:
Winter Woodland Cricut cart
Spellbinders Frameabilities - Snowflake frame
Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder
WOC flowers
Martha Stewart branch punch
Recollections pink pearls

I am entering this in the following challenge

Flower tags

I was just playing around in my craft room and ended up making a few tags.  One blue and one pink.  It all came about when I seen a pack of cupcake liners given to me.  One liner ended up on each tag.

Snow Angel

Way back when I remember making plenty of snow angels.  It seemed like when I was a kid we got a lot more snow then we do now a days.  I always tired to slip out the angel without messing it up to much.  Kinda hard though when your wearing snow boots, and a bulky coat.  I would manage a decent one from time to time.  Those memories gave me the inspiration to create this card.

I placed a Action Wobble under my snow angel thanks to my swap buddy Kim who sent them to me.

Cricut cart used:  Winter Frolic
Pattern paper used:  Bo Bunny Powder Mountain Collection
Punch used on border:  Martha Stewart

The start of a New Year

Wow it has been awhile since I posted on my blog.  I hope to post more and create more for the new year.

Here is a pix of a few goodies bags I made with the We R Memory Keepers gift bag punch board.  I got one for Millie & Kim for Christmas.  Of course I had to get myself one for Christmas also.

2 Christmas cards

Millie made 2 beautiful Christmas cards.  I just had to put them on the blog.  I believe she used Stampin Up products to make these cards.  I know you can't tell by the picture but there is glitter on the large pine tree.  Gorgeous cards Millie!

Card from a friend

A little while ago I placed a order with My Favorite Things.  I wanted to see what their paper was like.  Which I have to say it is wonderful.  Nice and thick.  Great for card bases and to even add layers.  I absolutely love their paper.  Next I got a some dies.  I have wanted the dies that make the piercing around the edges.  So I got the square dies with the piercings around them.  They work great.  I walked up to Millie's place and showed her some of the squares I made with the dies and gave her a few sheets of paper.  When I handed her the paper she started working out a card in her head.  Next thing I know she came down to my house with a card she made using the papers and a die cut I gave her awhile back.  It is such a sweet card I had to post it.  Thanks Millie!  Love the card!!

Silhouette Challenge #15 Print n Cut

I decided to give the Silhouette Challenge a go.  This challenge is using a print n cut design on your project.

Millie gave me a MS butterfly border punch for our monthly card swap.  When I found the print n cut design "house of 3 butterfly"  design id #9600 with a butterfly on it I just had to do it.  I used the border punch underneath the design across the middle.  It is such a cute punch.  Thanks Millie!

A owl card

Yesterday I pulled the cricut out and made a few cuts for this little hoot owl card.  I used the sentimentals cricut cart for the cuts.  I think I only used this cart once before.  After using it for this card I realized there are some cute images on this cart I haven't even used yet.

Owl and the little stamp cut came from sentimentals cricut cart.
Special delivery sentiment is a Close to My Heart stamp.
Roses were made using the Sizzix Flowers, 3-D Bigz die.
4mm rose buds came from Wild orchid crafts.
Leaves with the roses came from a ek tools flowers and leaves large punch.
Pattern paper is from Prima 6x6 paper pad Lyric.
Stick pin I made with beads from my stash.
Paper layer the owl sits on was cut with Spellbinders Celebrations pierced rectangles die.
Edges of the image and papers were inked with Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.
I also added some stickles to the flowers and leaves but it is hard to see in this photo.

A day at the beach challenge

I made a card to enter into challenge #219 A day at the beach. Fantabulous  Cricut Challenge Blog.
I didn't have a lot of beach cuts on the carts I have but I did find a sandcastle on the Doodlecharms cart.

I had some neat nautical paper from Websters.  I just loved that whale in the ocean so I let the paper work for me.  Of course I had to add some glitter to the sand castle.   Add glitter whenever or however  you can....LOL!

A little princess card.

I made a card this week for a couple of challenges.  Since I have the summer off I thought it would be fun to get my creative mojo going by doing a few challenges.

I used the Lacy Labels cart on this card
